HIGH PROTEIN APPLE & COTTAGE CHEESE DESSERT

Get a hit of muscle building protein before bed with this no-fuss cottage cheese dessert recipe.

Cottage cheese is low in fat and high in calcium as well as being rich in easily digested casein protein making it a great addition to your diet plan.  We have also added Total+ protein powder to further assist with lean muscle growth and muscle repair as you sleep.

This recipe is quick and easy to make and tastes great too!

Ingredients:

1 apple

½ cup cottage cheese

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (we used Vitalstrength Total+ Protein)

1 tsp natural peanut butter

Cinnamon

To make:

Mix the cottage cheese, peanut butter and protein powder in a bowl until smooth.  Cut an apple in half and dig out the core.  Spoon the cottage cheese mixture onto the apple halves and top with a little cinnamon.
